Rokeby Crossover Friends Group members attended DSE led workshops to provide input into a strategy to tackle the increasing problem of motorbikes in parks and forest areas. Outcomes from this early strategy resulted in the construction of a trail bike unloading area on Latrobe River Road, a horse unloading area off Whitelaws Track and the installation of additional signage.
The group has also provided input into the current Neerim East Trail Bike Safety Project where a network of purpose built motor bike tracks will be constructed with the aim to reduce the frequency and severity of accidents involving trail bikes in the Neerim East Forest area.
